Identifying Your Unique GIfts

In Romans 12, Paul makes clear that each of us, by the grace of God, is uniquely equipped for Kingdom service. He tells us, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;  if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

We take from that and other verses on spiritual gifts that the individual is very important to the community. Let’s be specific here: you are important. And by identifying your area of giftedness and applying that in ministry to others, the whole community benefits.

If you’ve been wondering how your life could be used in the Lord’s service, start by learning more about the gifts you’ve been given. And you can do that by joining us for a special meeting, "Identifying Your Unique Gifts."
